Myra Kellerman

Leader, Global Travel Program

Barry-Wehmiller

Myra Kellerman leads the global travel program for Barry-Wehmiller, where she is responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of the company’s travel operations worldwide. She oversees comprehensive supplier management across air, hotel, and ground transportation, ensuring a high-quality, cost-effective travel program that delivers strong service levels. Managing an annual travel spend of approximately $50 million, Myra plays a key role in supplier negotiations and leads major travel initiatives that support continuous improvement, enhanced processes, and robust duty of care.

Raised in Venezuela, Myra is fluent in Spanish and has been an active member of the St. Louis GBTA chapter since 2002, when she attended her first GBTA convention and discovered her passion for the travel industry. Over the years, she has contributed extensively to the organization, serving on the scholarship and election committees and volunteering at numerous events. She currently serves as a board member and treasurer for the chapter.

Outside of her professional life, Myra is a devoted mother of two daughters and a proud grandmother. She lives in Troy, Missouri, with her husband, Guy, where they enjoy the peaceful rhythm of life on their small farm. In her free time, Myra loves traveling the world, taking long road trips with her husband, and spending meaningful time with her family. 

GBTA St. Louis is incredibly grateful for Myra’s longstanding membership, leadership, and the passion she brings to our chapter and the broader business travel community. Her dedication, service, and willingness to give back have made a lasting impact, and we are fortunate to have her as part of our network. We are excited to share our next membership spotlight!

 Stephen Baalmann

Regional Business Travel Sales Director

Hospitality Management Associates

 

Stephen Baalmann is the Regional Business Travel Sales Director for Hospitality Management Associates (HMA Hotels) for their Missouri properties. HMA Hotels is a locally owned and operated Hospitality Management Company.  Currently, HMA hotels manages 13 hotels, the Trout Lodge in Potosi MO, and the Regency Conference Center.  Stephen started with HMA Hotels in October of 2023 and signed HMA up as a new member of the St. Louis Chapter of the GTBA.

Stephen has always weighted networking and education as priorities amongst others in his professional career which is why he joined the GBTA STL Chapter.  He was honored to win one of the GTBA National Convention Scholarships which allow him attend and book business from the convention. 

Stephen was born and raised in St. Louis.  He has three children: Jack – 14, Joey 12 and Emily 10.  Stephen loves to play pickle ball, cycle, camp, and spend time with family and friends amongst multiple other hobbies and interests. 

Stephen graduated from St. Louis University High School (SLUH) and chose to enroll in the University of Missouri (MIZZOU) hospitality program where he received his B.S.  Stephen has worked in many aspects of hospitality and roles during his hospitality professional career are as follows: Five years for an independent clayton hotel; Banquets, Front Desk, Assistant Banquet Manager, Sales, and 17 years for Lodging Hospitality Management; Director of Revenue, Corporate Sales Manager, Regional Corporate Sales Manager, Director of Sales, and Vice President of Group Sales.  Post-Covid, Stephen exited the hospitality career to work for a local scrap yard for one and a half years which he loved as well. 

Stephen is excited to be back in the Hospitality field once again and to be working a new segment for himself within the in the Business Travel Sales segment. GBTA St Louis is excited to share Stephen as one of our membership spotlights!

Cheryl Chadwick

Global Travel Manager

RGA

Cheryl Chadwick is an experienced travel industry professional with a career spanning several decades. She began her journey in leisure travel before transitioning to corporate travel, holding agent roles at Maritz (Incentive Travel), AAA (Leisure Travel), and American Express (Corporate Travel). In 2004, she became Travel Manager at Build-A-Bear Workshop, and in 2018, she joined Reinsurance Group of America as Global Travel Manager, overseeing corporate travel across 23 countries.

Cheryl has been an active member of the St. Louis Business Travel Association since 2018, attending educational sessions, supporting chapter events, and lending her perspective as a seasoned travel buyer. The GBTA St Louis Board of Directors is honored to share Cheryl Chadwick as one of our 2025 membership spotlights, if you have not met Cheryl yet, we encourage to introduce yourself at an upcoming event!   

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Tiara Palmer

Sr. Global Sales Executive

Delta Air Lines

Tiara Palmer is the Sr. Global Sales Executive for Delta Air Lines and a member of the Central Team. She re-joined Delta in 2021 and is based in Kansas City. Tiara was welcomed back after a 10-year hiatus, starting with Delta at LAX while obtaining her marketing degree. She then joined Virgin Atlantic as a Sales Executive, eventually being promoted to Key Account Manager for top corporate and entertainment clients. Relocating to Kansas City in 2015 brought new opportunities and a focus on family. 

 

Today, Tiara manages a portfolio of corporate clients across Kansas and Missouri supporting both MCI and STL markets. In February 2023 she supported Delta’s launch within the new MCI airport along with the grand opening of the market’s first Sky Club. Community engagement and sustainability are two areas that interest Tiara. KC is now home to three ‘Delta trees’ that were planted during local BTA events, one of which resulted in Tiara taking home the Best Sustainability Initiative Award at the Delta West/Central meeting in 2023!

 

Being born and raised in Hawai’i, studying undergrad in Colorado and living in Southern California then migrating to Kansas City has given Tiara an appreciation for embracing new experiences. Further, her passion for travel has resulted in unforgettable experiences and memories, visiting over 30 countries. Tiara has two amazing children and her goldendoodle Stewie. Gardening, yoga, cycling and of course travel fill her spare time. 

 

Tiara shared, “I am honored to be a part of the STLBTA chapter. From day one, the STLBTA members welcomed me in and I’ve been fortunate to have established meaningful, mutually beneficial relationships that move the community forward.”
